DivXにはまっています。

　最近話題のVAIOtypeUは買えませんが、あの小ささに触発され最近あまり使っていなかったVAIO U3を使い出しています。
このところ動画にちょっとこってまして、私もDivX変換が出来るようになりました。DivXにする前には、ファイルサイズを小さくするために、WMVやQuickTimeのMPEG4なんかも試してみました。
でもこのDivX形式というのは、画像のサイズを小さくすることなく（720×480サイズのまま）ファイルサイズを小さくしてくれるという、すぐれものなのです。（しかもけっこうきれいに）　
　動画はCLIEのNX80Vで見たりもしますが、やっぱり画面が大きいことにこしたことはありません。
CLIEと比べたら、U3は大きいとはいえ小さめのバッグにも入りますし、打ちづらいとはいえキーボードがありますので、メールやブログのエントリーにも余裕で使えます。
ただ動画を見ているときの、バッテリーの持ちはあまり良くありません。（標準バッテリーです）
U3のCPUは、低消費のクルーソーですが、２時間の映画を見るのがギリギリです。
大容量バッテリーが欲しいのですが、べらぼうに高いです。CLIEが１台買えちゃうくらいの金額です。
メモステProにしても、もう少し周辺機器の値段を下げて欲しいものです。SONYさんお願いします。
